At Shenanigans Farm, showing is about more than ribbons—it’s an opportunity to grow as a rider, strengthen your partnership with your horse, and embrace the thrill and discipline of the sport. We welcome riders of all levels, from those just starting their show journey to seasoned competitors.
At every show, Mary and Ricci are by each rider’s side, providing hands-on coaching, training guidance, and encouragement both in and out of the ring. We foster a strong team environment where riders cheer each other on and families feel welcomed and supported. Our show program isn’t just about competing—it’s about connection, sportsmanship, and creating lasting memories with a community that feels like family.
From your first outing to your most competitive season, our trainers are by your side—providing expert coaching, fostering growth, and creating a positive experience for both riders and families. At Shenanigans, our riders don’t just compete—they thrive.

Competitive Travel Horse Shows
Our riders have the opportunity to apply their skills in a real-world show environment while gaining valuable experience in teamwork, sportsmanship, and preparation.
We compete at top-tier USEF “A” rated competitions throughout the Midwest. Our show calendar features some of the most prestigious venues in the region, including Kentucky Horse Shows, World Equestrian Center, Brave Horse, Lamplight, and more—giving our riders the chance to compete at an elite level and grow within a high-caliber environment.
For those just beginning their show journey, we also participate in select local shows in the Metro Detroit area, designed to help newer riders gain experience and confidence in a fun, approachable setting. Beginner riders have the opportunity to lease a trusted Shenanigans lesson horse or pony as they ease into their first competitions.
As proud members of the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), Michigan Hunter Jumper Association (MHJA), and Hunter Jumper Association of Michigan (HJAM), we provide meaningful show experiences that challenge riders, celebrate progress, and build lifelong confidence.
